Eligibility criteria for AITD/REI Fellowship
To be certified as reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist through AITD/NEFI fellowship program, candidates must met the AITD qualifying assessment of REI training that include
- Qualified candidates must have completed five year ( or equivalent ) residency training program in Obstetrics and Gynecology in a recognized medical school listed in the International Medical Education Directory (IMED)
- Qualified candidates should hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in countries in which you hold a medical license.
(Licenses that have been revoked, suspended, on probation are restricted.) - Be of good moral and ethical character and have shown appropriate professionalism in all interactions with patients, peers, and other medical personnel. (certificate of good standing can be provided when applicable)
- Qualified candidates must fulfill one of the following tracts be enrolled
- Have successfully completed at least 24 months of training in an internationally accredited Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship program ( individual assessment of fellowship program will be conducted and candidates may be waived from exam ( USA and Canada REI fellowships ) or may be eligible for exam directly or may need more training to be eligible for exam.
- Candidates with no previous accredited training or non-documented training can be enrolled in AITD/NEFI fellowship training program that should include all -theoretical and completed logbook in accredited centers.
- Recognized accredited centers for approval of training should be CAP or QAC accredited.
