Approved courses

AITD invites individual AFREI-AITD/NEFI fellow who deliver educational courses or training programs in REI  to apply for official course approval. While these programs are independently organized, those that meet AITD’s rigorous criteria are eligible for formal recognition—signifying their excellence in content, delivery, and relevance to the field.
Programs may be conducted in any language; however, a complete English translation of the curriculum must be submitted as part of the approval process
Students engaged in study inside a college classroom with books and discussions.

AITD is committed to endorsing high-caliber educational programs in reproductive medicine and infertility. Through this initiative, AITD seeks to actively expand its global educational outreach, strengthen fellowship engagement, and uphold internationally recognized standards of excellence in advanced REI training.

  1. Applications must be submitted via email to the AITD Secretariat at info@aitd.ac The Secretariat will forward them to the Chair of the Education Committee and/or the Chair of the Courses Task Force for approval. All applications must be submitted at least two months prior to the proposed course date.
  2. The applicant must be a current AFREI-AITD/NEFI fellow .The proposed faculty must include at least two faculty members speakers, with approval from the Education Committee.
  3. AITD-approved courses should focus on a specific area of REI . The course’s educational objectives and the expected level of participant experience must be clearly outlined in promotional materials. Invited speakers should be internationally recognized experts, and the faculty panel must include AFREI fellow.
  4. Applications must include:
    • A detailed scientific program
    • List of invited speakers
    • Defined educational goals
    • Target audience
    • Delegate fee information
    • A formal letter of application

The Education Committee will review submissions based on these criteria and assign the course to the appropriate category.The criteria used to assign a course to a specific category include:

  • Location (developed vs. developing countries)
  • Fee structure (profit vs. non-profit)
  • Type of organizing institution (public vs. private)
  • Course objective (general theoretical update vs. hands-on training)

Organizers are responsible for obtaining explicit documented consent from delegates to share their contact details with AITD  for further announcement and communications .

  1. Once a course is approved, the AITD Secretariat will provide the official  AITD logo to the organisers. This logo must be displayed on all promotional materials for the course, accompanied by one of the following statements:
    • Approved by American institute of training and development AITD
    • or “Under the auspices of the American institute of training and development AITD
  2. AITD  will promote approved courses on its website and, if requested, assist with advertising to relevant candidates . These promotional services are provided free of charge.
  3. Organisers must maintain a record of course attendance. A delegate list, must be submitted.
  4. A short PowerPoint presentation—supplied by AFREI-AITD/NEFI —must be shown to delegates to introduce the benefits of the fellowship . This presentation must be delivered by a member of the AITD  faculty.
  5. Certificates of attendance should be issued to delegates who complete the advertised program.
  6. Within 14 days after the course, organizers must submit a complete delegate list to the AITD Secretariat in the Excel format provided. The list must include each delegate’s first name, last name, email address (as permitted under local data protection laws), and AFREI- AITD /NEFI number (if applicable).
  7. It  may be a good chance for AFREI-AITD/NEFI candidates who may  have some of their skills assessment forms completed during these approved courses with the fellowship  faculty member if applicable .
